About Us

We do things differently…

Saving African Youths Dream Initiative (SAYDi) is a youth-led, non-profit organization based in Nigeria, working across West Africa to advance inclusive development through research, education, civic engagement, and community-led action. “We exist to ensure that young people and marginalized communities are not only heard, but meaningfully involved in shaping the decisions that affect their lives”.

Our Story

Saving African Youths Dream Initiative (SAYDi) was founded in 2020 at the University of Ilorin and officially registered as a non-profit organization in 2021. SAYDi has grown from a student-led movement into a trusted platform driven by committed young professionals and volunteers.

What Make Us Different

SAYDi supports underserved communities by amplifying local voices, expanding access to knowledge, and equipping people with the tools to influence policy and development outcomes. Through youth-led research, inclusive education initiatives, digital and media innovation, and the responsible use of data, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure, we bridge the gap between lived experience and decision-making.

Our Approach

At the core of our approach is a strong feedback loop between citizens and institutions. SAYDi contributes to more responsive governance, social justice, and sustainable development through community engagement, technology-based research, tools, and policy advocacy.
