SAYDi Extends Heartfelt Sympathy To People Of Patigi Following Boat Mishap

Ilorin, Kwara State. 16-06-2023 – Saving African Youths Initiative expresses profound condolences and deep sympathy to the people of Patigi Local Government Area in Kwara State, following a tragic boat mishap that claimed the lives of several individuals.

According to reports from FreshInsights, on Monday, 12th June, a boat carrying passengers capsized in during a routine journey. The incident resulted in a devastating loss of lives and left several others injured. This unfortunate event has deeply saddened the entire community and left them in a state of mourning.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the affected families and urge the government to work closely with relevant authorities and stakeholders to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boat mishap, do everything possible to ensure the recovery of those still missing alive, and ensure that necessary measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
